Spreaded out over a few weeks we work unto a magnificent final product. With some extra time and thinking the ‘weaker’ points of the old bimini are significantly improved. Extra reinforcement of the vulnerable spots and not wanting to work too fast. The new bimini hardly fits into our living room!

I can say I am really satisfied with the sewing machine we bought (Bernina 215B). It’s small, simple, compact. No too much mishmash with complicated stitching, parts that can only get broken easily.
We use most of the time the ‘straightforward’ stitch and sometimes a zigzag. So recommendable!
In a few days the bimini will be ready and then: let’s hope it all fits…..
