 Last week on Lanzarote
On a sailing trip like ours you meet many sailors and often also several times. The last time we Mark and the “ Windharp ” saw was in Portimão. Now we are not the only ones who like seeing Mark again, because FRITZ went out of his roof when he heard that DIL the KROKO was again in the neighborhood. For weeks he suffered from love disgrace and could not leave a reunion. It became a romantic photo shoot!
The new engine for Mark's boat has arrived and its boat has to be moved to the quay of the yard. A crane will lower the engine in the following morning. There is still a lot of wind, but with united forces it is possible to move the boat to the beginning of the ponton. The moment we want to pull the boat from there to the side of the yard, the “ boss ” put on the pitch from the yard. He does not want this to happen now but only tomorrow morning. With what goes back and forth it is agreed that there will be the next morning help from being the yard. They're wondering even at 9:00 already ready to help. This is definitely not the most friendly site, they are doing very hard when we want to go to the site of the site to help Mark. At 12:00, the engine is in and its boat is back to the ponton. Mark is very relieved and can now get ready to finish the boat.

I cook old-fashioned Dutch pancakes with bacon and the last little Dutch syrup. After that we still have one packet of pancake mix, but then we will have to unpack it.
If everything goes well, the wind will be less the coming weekend and we can leave Arrecife to sail to the island of Graciosa and go there for anchoring.
