We have been three times to Croatia.
The first time when Fred and I first met, in 2008, received Fred an invitation from the trader of Hanse boats to try-out these boats in Croatia. We just had to pay for the flight, the rest would be taken care of by the importer.
The second time was in 2009, a holiday in Croatia with the children from both sides. It was quite a puzzle, Angela and Dennis (Fred’s children)  could only join us the first week, while Vincent (my youngest son) came a few days later, because he had to participate in a chesstournament. We booked a lot of different plaintickets, but everything worked out fine.  
The first week we hired a condo in the city centre of Split, very lively and entertaining. The second week we hired a Bavaria 31 with flotilla-support from Euro-Yachtcharter. Through this experience we learned the special way of mooring at the dock.
